Elsevier is a global company organized by two market-facing operating divisions that generate the company’s revenue; Health Sciences (HS) and Science & Technology (S&T) and six ‘center’ groups that provide shared services.
Both organizations include staff functions such as Finance and Strategy.
The six shared services groups are organized by function, and include: Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources and Corporate Services, Finance, Strategy, and Global Academic and Customer Relations. In addition to performing corporate functions they support the HS and S&T operating divisions by providing specialized expertise and operational efficiencies.
